Exporting your time

Get your hours out as CSV or PDF for billing, payroll, and your own records.

Everything you track can leave ProjectPacer in a clean format whenever you need it.

What you can export

  • Hours report — filtered time as CSV (columns: Description, Client, Project, Person, Start, End, Duration) or a PDF summary. The Hours export is hours-only — it never includes money columns, for anyone.
  • Profitability report — revenue, cost, profit, and margin as CSV/PDF (see reading your reports; shown only if your role can see them).
  • AI Capture report — recovered hours and their estimated value.
  • Mileage — trips as CSV, or a PDF log for reimbursement.
Filter to what you want

Narrow the report to the client, project, people, and dates you care about.

Choose a format

CSV for further crunching; PDF for something you can hand to a client.

Export

CSV downloads straight away. PDF opens a clean print view in a new tab — print it, or choose Save as PDF in the print dialog. Either way there's no waiting on an email.

It respects your filters

Exports contain exactly what's on screen — filter first, then export, and you'll never have to trim the file afterward.

Money lives in the money reports

The plain Hours export is hours-only. Revenue, cost, and margin come out of the Profitability and AI Capture exports instead — and those only include money columns your role is allowed to see.

Exports are data, not layouts

An export gives you the underlying records — CSV rows, or a print-friendly PDF. It doesn't carry over how things look in the app: board and calendar layouts, saved views, column order and widths, and custom field structure all stay in ProjectPacer. Expect to rebuild any formatting in whatever tool you open the file in.
