AI Capture & value recovered
See how much billable time the AI suggestions won back — in hours and dollars — against what ProjectPacer costs you.
The AI Capture report (under Insights) puts a number on what AI suggestions actually recovered for you — the meetings, travel, and gaps you logged that you'd otherwise have missed.
AI Capture needs See billing — the dollar values are computed from bill rates.
What it shows
- Hours captured and captured value (each person's hours × their bill rate), with a period delta.
- By source — how much came from meetings, travel time, and switching gaps.
- Entry fixes — mismatches corrected and duplicates removed (accuracy, not hours).
- Who it helped most — a per-person breakdown.
Use the period control at the top to choose a preset (this quarter, this year, all time…) or a Custom range with your own From and To dates — the same picker the Hours and Mileage reports use.
Captured items (meetings, travel, gaps) add real worked hours. Cleaned items (duplicates, wrong-project fixes) don't add hours — they just make the invoice accurate. Only captured time carries a value.
Net gain
Enter your monthly plan cost (admins) and the report shows Net gain — captured value minus what ProjectPacer costs you over the period. It's a straight "did this pay for itself" figure.
Captured value is what the recovered time is worth at your standard bill rate — a measure of the tool's impact, not money you've billed. It won't match a specific invoice.
