ProjectPacer started after years as the COO of an AI and data science agency. We’ve been operating since 2019 (pre-ChatGPT), and years of running a growing consultancy taught the hard lessons the slow way. We tried model after model for pricing, staffing, and pacing the work, and refined them over and over. A lot of what ProjectPacer does today grew straight out of those years.
Then I started my own fractional practice alongside it, and the gaps showed fast. Almost everything that kept the business moving was manual and slow: capturing hours across clients, pacing each engagement, pulling in contractors, keeping every workspace straight. To run my own thing well without dropping the ball on the bigger business, I had to automate the busywork and make it genuinely easy to work across clients, projects, workspaces, and the people you bring in.
So we built the tool we always wanted. ProjectPacer is shaped by fractional operators and agency owners from across the country and across industries, the people who live this work every day. It’s built for exactly how you run yours.

We don't want your data
